Counsel, not consulting.
The vocabulary of management consulting — frameworks, deliverables, workstreams — describes a service of which we are not practitioners. Alpha-Step is structured in the older tradition of professional counsel: the careful, considered, individually-rendered advice that one principal owes another in the conduct of consequential affairs.
We are engaged for judgement under uncertainty, for the architecture of decisions that cannot be delegated, and for the patient construction of commercial positions that compound over decades rather than quarters.

Partner-led, end to end
Every mandate is conducted personally by a partner from first conversation to final handover. There is no associate layer between principal and counsel.
Intellectual independence
We accept no retainers from vendors, intermediaries or financial counterparties. Our judgement is owed exclusively to the client of record.
Selective engagement
We decline more mandates than we accept. A small portfolio of clients permits the depth of attention each consequential decision requires.
Discretion by default
Our work is, by design, invisible. We do not publish case studies, name clients, or seek public attribution for the outcomes we help shape.
